Get Involved
APPAC has many committees which constantly need more membership.
Those include Live Programming, Film Series, Theatre Operations & Revenue, Theatre Tech, Publicity, and Volunteer Coordination. Please fill out the volunteer form and contact the APPAC office at appac@att.net.
Attend an APPAC Board meeting.
Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 4:00 PM. They occur in the APPAC office to the left of the theatre entrance, at the historic State Theatre located at 985 Lincoln Way Auburn, CA. If you would like to be a guest at a meeting, please email the office at appac@att.net. Please also send us an email expressing your contribution, ideas or expression of interest in joining the group.
Volunteer
Volunteers are an essential part of such a large project as the renovation of the STATE Theatre. All interested groups and individuals who have time and interest are essential. Recently APPAC Board members, in partnership with volunteers and community organizations, have achieved great results through essential collaboration in the execution of Phase I of the STATE Theatre façade and marquee renovation. APPAC has had success producing the Auburn Bluegrass Festivals, the Winter Chamber Music Series as well as other theatrical events. APPAC also operates an administrative office in the STATE Theatre building. In all of these endeavors, volunteers have made significant contributions of time and talent. Please consider joining the effort. A volunteer form is available here for your convenience. After filling the form out please mail it to the APPAC Office and you will receive a call promptly to discuss how you can be involved in this exciting community project. See you at the theater.
